Welcome to KIWINORDIC

New Zealand and the Nordic countries might, at first glance, not have much in common. We certainly have the greater part of the world between us. You won’t find much pickled herring in New Zealand but then you won’t find much kumara in Sweden or Norway.

But we do share a passion for the Great Outdoors. The Nordic forests and the Kiwi bush. Hunting, fishing, tramping, camping, hiking, climbing, canoeing, mountain biking … you name it. If you can do it outdoors- then we do it! Bungy jumping might have originated in Kiwiland, but I did my first (and only!) jump in Sweden. I took my first trout and red stag in NZ and my first pike and moose in Sweden. The nationality of the first wild pig is as yet undecided. I learnt the art of mushroom picking from my father in law in Sweden. I’ve never done that in NZ. I learnt about the kiwi bush from my father and as a cub scout. Now I’m teaching my daughter, who is also a scout, about the forests in Sweden.

KiwiNordic AB is all about developing this passion for the Great Outdoors. Our aim is to find top quality outdoor products and services and to market them on the other side of the world. Quite simply the best of both worlds.
